Pay attention for summer grace
Strap on your sandals this summer, friends. Whether you’re six or 96, here’s a little summer assignment for you. A travel journal and well-sharpened pencil might come in handy.
Open your eyes. Notice grace at every turn! This summer, you’re likely to discover something fresh about God’s love and your faith… in the pot of petunias hanging on the porch, in the face of the guy scooping ice cream, in an encounter at your favorite fishing hole, on the bike path.
Let’s share. We’ll post many of your observations on our church website as we collect them. Jot a few lines or wax poetic. Don’t be shy. Just pay attention as you walk through your summer. Be prepared. You’re bound to recognize God’s grace around every corner.
