Christmas Eve worship

Come celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in Christmas Eve worship in the St. Paul Sanctuary.

Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008

Holy Communion is included in services at 3 & 10 p.m.

During all services, the childcare room will be open for parents to use as needed. Childcare staff will not be present. Children are always welcome in worship.

The new St. Paul pipe organ is expected to be in full voice for Christmas Eve worship.

Be sure to bring to church with you those whom you care about or love. May the blessings of the season be with you!

Scripture and music tell the story of this holy night.

5 p.m. | A Family Christmas Service

A participatory service for all ages with a children’s message for all. Music will be provided by the Open Spirit contemporary ensemble and the Children’s Choir. The pastoral residents take the lead.

10 p.m. | Candlelight Holy Communion

The evening concludes with Silent Night in a darkened sanctuary lit by candles. Chamber instrumentalists accent worship.

"To pray does not mean to listen to oneself speaking. Prayer involves becoming silent, and being silent, and waiting until God is heard." ~Søren Kierkegaard
