Leading worship from the St. Paul organ bench is Melanie Moll Sigafoose, who holds a doctorate in organ performance from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. She brings deep experience and love for the song heritage of the Church.
Melanie plans worship, working closely with the pastors, choirs, instrumental ensembles, and music staff. She also maintains St. Paul’s extensive music library and musical instruments. She is active in the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.
Melanie and her husband Jay Sigafoose, an Iowa City attorney, are proud parents of baby Abigail.

Bill is assistant professor of music theory and composition at St. Ambrose University, Davenport. Musically fluent in a myriad of contemporary and world music styles, Bill has served as musician and music director in Arizona and Oregon churches. He’s an accomplished composer for theatre, dance, film, and the concert stage.
Bill and his wife Michelle, a yoga teacher and landscape designer, are parents of Forrest and Ian.

Jon Hurty is director of choral activities and chair of the music department at Augustana College, Rock Island. In the community, he conducts the Handel Oratorio Society. Dr. Hurty has had a love for choral music throughout his life, beginning when he conducted his first church choir while in high school.
Jon and his wife Sonja are members of St. Paul. Their children Kjerstin and Jens are actively involved in church life.

Michael is assistant professor of choral music education at Augustana College, Rock Island. He has served as the summer program director for Lutheran Summer Music Academy and Festival for accomplished high school musicians.
Michael and his wife Sangeetha Rayapati are both on the Augustana music faculty. Members of St. Paul, they have two daughters: Annika and Karenna.

Linda has served as an organist and choir accompanist for Quad City congregations for 24 years. She teaches piano in her home to more than 35 budding young musicians. She holds a Master of Arts degree in organ and a sacred music certificate in choral music, hymnody, and history. You’ll spot Linda on the St. Paul organ bench on occasion.
Linda and her husband Don are the parents of three adult daughters.

Rosita has been teaching elementary and preschool music and directing church choirs for over 30 years. She has a masters degree in music education from the University of Iowa, where she is currently completing her doctorate. She is on the music education faculty of Augustana College.
Rosita and her husband Steve have a blended family of five adult children and three grandchildren.
