Sunday-morning adult learning

Each Sunday morning, starting Sept. 12, expect a mix of three opportunities: a topical speaker, discussions on faith intersecting with the world, and some small-group choices.

A full brochure of Sunday-morning adult learning will be included in the Sept. 10 issue of The Journey.

Small groups

Sign up in advance in the Commons area by the elevator. Each group will be limited to 10 participants. These four-week small groups will meet weekly during Learning Hour in the Church House living room. Books are available for purchase in the Book Corner.

NOOMA

The name for these intriguing videos is drawn from the Greek word pneuma, spirit or breath. Engage in faith intersecting with the world with intriguing topics such as Whirlwind, Noise, and Tomato – in the Luther Loft.

ALPHA

ALPHA is a free Monday-evening course that explores the basics of the Christian faith. The evenings include good food, good people, laughter, music, and questions that matter deeply. The series is offered each Fall and Spring.
