Prime Time

Prime Time brings together fun-loving people who are 50/60something or thereabouts, single or married. Here’s the Prime Time menu for the coming months:

  • Sept. 6: Breakfast Club at West Lake Park, 8 a.m. at Breezy Point Shelter. Cost is $6 per person for scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. (Organizers claim all fat will be removed!) Bring your own tableware to do your bit for the environment. We’ll have a bit of light music ala Jock Aplin, horseshoes, and other lawn games. Sign up at church on Sundays, Aug. 24 & 31.   • Oct. 19: Hayride at Al & Sharon Casad’s farm in DeWitt, starting at 4 p.m. The cost is $5 per person for hayride, food, beverage, and entertainment. Sign up at church Oct. 5 and 12. Contact Al & Sharon Casad, 563-659-3617

Women’s Evening Fellowship

Women’s Evening Fellowship meets on the fourth Monday of each month for a simple supper and a study topic, Women of the Bible. Meet at 6 p.m. in the third grade classroom on the upper level of the education wing. Michelle Kanzaki, 269-6151.
