Put your faith into action. Help out a neighbor. On Saturday, July 31, St. Paul people will pitch in on a local Habitat for Humanity house nearing completion.
This workday is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1106 Ripley St. in Davenport. Finish work will include painting and other tasks. Lunch is provided. If you’re 16 years or older, whether you have construction experience or not, you can be a part of the crew.

The local chapter of Habitat for Humanity works in partnership to build simple, decent houses that are sold to partner families at no profit through zero-interest loans. St. Paul provides funding support and willing workers.
On occasion, St. Paul volunteers roll up their sleeves for concentrated workdays. If you’re interested in being a regular volunteer, either pounding nails or serving lunch, contact Terry Timmerman at 359-9066, . Lunch, as well as a breakfast snack, is provided for all workers.

St. Paul sponsors two opportunities to give blood each year. The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center sets up a mobile clinic that inspires the generosity of St. Paul people.

St. Paul women create colorful quilts that are distributed through community agencies and to worldwide mission. Join the quilters when they gather to tie-off their handiwork with yarn knots.
