St. Paul congregation took a strong serving spirit back to Ocean Springs, Mississippi in January. On this second mission trip, 39 St. Paul people traveled to Camp Victor for a rebuilding mission trip for households impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

Lutheran Disaster Response is engaged in a long-term commitment to people living in the area ravaged by the 2005 hurricanes. Camp Victor, the volunteer headquarters in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, has been called into a unique and urgent ministry. Surrounded by people and homes hard hit by the hurricane, Camp Victor serves as the supply distribution center and housing for volunteers.
