Starting Fall 2009
St. Paul is excited to offer our new learning curriculum, Spark, a Sunday-morning faith formation program designed for age 3 through grade 6.
Kids will open their Bibles each week and engage in scripture. Watch them grow in faith by encountering God’s Word, while participating in activities that reinforce the lessons.
With Spark, kids explore their faith through interactive activities and games, colorful lesson leaflets, creative art projects, and engaging music. Spark is designed to accommodate all of the different ways kids learn.
All children grades 3-6 will receive the Spark Bible. Going beyond traditional Bible reading, the Spark Bible includes stickers that help kids think about the text in a personal way by highlighting questions or statements like “I memorized it!”, “Makes me feel…” and “Reminds me of…” The Bible serves as the key learner resource within the curriculum and is the cornerstone of each lesson. Kids open their Bibles and engage in God’s Word in each and every lesson.
For our younger children, age 3-Grade 2. the Spark Story Bible offers extraordinary artwork and creative language for reading aloud. Each story encourages kids’ imagination through images and text that’s entertaining to listen to and easy to understand.
Are you ready to activate faith? It all begins on Sunday, Sept. 13, in our Sunday Morning Learning program at St. Paul. We welcome you to a great year of growing in God’s Word!
