Welcome to the world of children at St. Paul. Children are happily at home here… in bright spaces lovingly designed for them, in the sanctuary, and all around the church. Nurturing this ministry with kids is:

Are you expecting? The birth or adoption of a child is a time when the church can be present in important ways. Please share your happy news with the church office when your baby is born or adopted, so that our pastors might extend the church’s love and support as family life unfolds.

Welcoming babies and their families into the family of faith is our Birth and Baptism ministry. Home-cooked meals, prepared with love, and a family resource packet, express the church’s warm encouragment and care when a baby arrives on the scene.

Baptism is God’s warm welcome into new life in Christ’s family for infants, youth, and adults of the congregation. This sacrament of grace is generally included on one or two Sundays selected each month, and on most Saturday evenings. A pastor leads a conference to prepare for each baptism. Call the church office for information.

Staffed childcare is available, as needed, all Sunday morning for families with infants and young children through preschool age. Two nursery rooms, on the main level of the education wing near the bookstore, are thoughtfully equipped with small children in mind. Just read the signs to locate the appropriate age-grouping for your child.
For attentive, consistent care, the church employs an excellent childcare staff. Help yourself to a silent pager, then relax into worship or learning classes. The pager will vibrate silently if you’re needed.
Few things strengthen the faith journey for families with children like Christian worship. The sights and sounds, the togetherness with other worshipers, introduce even the smallest child to the joys of living with God.
Classes are offered for children, beginning at age two, from September through May. For the youngest children, an engaging curriculum, Living the Good News, brings puppets and hands-on learning to tell the story of Jesus. You’ll find classrooms for kids at these locations:
