Faith mileposts

From the moment of birth, we grow in God’s grace. At the beginning of life, at critical junctures of change and growth, in moments both mundane and magnificent, St. Paul congregation seeks to be a loving sign of Christ’s presence.

The church is present for children and families of all descriptions with a lifelong spirit of learning and growth. From the earliest of days, the church steps in with prayerful support.

Welcome, two-year-olds

Sunday-morning learning begins with “twos.” From two-year-old through adults, Sunday mornings offer classes during a “learning hour,” 10:45-11:30 a.m.

Bibles for third-graders

St. Paul congregation gifts every child with a Bible in their third-grade year.

First Communion for fourth-graders

Fourth-graders and their parents are invited to participate in First Communion instruction, a time for families to grow in faith together and prepare to receive the bread and wine.

Entering middle school

Moving from childhood into the middle school years is a life-changing passage that calls for the church’s partnership in faith and hope. An overnight lock-in is offered for sixth-graders.

Confirmation years

Ready to go, and ready to grow, middle-schoolers live out their baptism with the fun and faithful presence of caring adults on Sunday evenings.

Baccalaureate

Rich in memories of growing up in the arms of the faith community, the congregation sends forth its high school graduates with prayers at a Baccalaureate recognition on the second Sunday in May.
