A new year

We are now back in Tanzania from our 3-month long furlough to the States. What a country! We were able to go to a restaurant and were served drinkable water for free! Things are clearing up for us as far as our daily lives and mission activities here in the Diocese of Pare of the ELCT as laissons and project coordinators for the ELCA and SEIA Synod. With the new year comes new insights, and all of the folks back home in the States help us to discern the myriad of things presented. We thank God who provides a life of wonder and newness. We pray that this year can be one filled with realizing hope and that we can reflect the power of Jesus Christ through our lives. Thanks be to God for protecting us through our travels, and for introducing us to so many dedicated Christians who live and work with world missions and who selflessly care for one another!
